Magento is made up of two different interfaces. There is the public interface that is open to anyone who visits the web site and an administration interface, which can only be seen to those who have access. The public interface of Magento allows a user to manipulate how the store is designed and the ability to change how you promote your products. With Magento, you are able to edit layout, color schemes, photos, and content to fit your unique situation. Even if you choose not to install the sample data provided by Magento, your store will initially be set up as a demo store.
